Sure, provided that your cardiovascular and skeletomuscular systems can take the high intensity workout and muscle damage resulting from such an activity. Given that up to 43% of the population per county is inactive (CDC), most people are currently unable to withstand the demands of a workout like that without a high risk of injury.

Also, two 30-minute workouts per week like the one described is unlikely to produce a substantial caloric deficit to promote weight loss.
